We engaged Peregrine for our visit to Janakpur and Mukhthinath. We were travelling from California, US 1) Janakpur visit - The driver was courteous and polite. But he had no knowledge of any of the cultural sites and was not of any use to us, other than driving. Pergerine should have taken more responsibility to engage someone who would care for cultural, religious and spiritual aspirations of the customers. They just arranged Flight ticket, arranged a car with driver and merely acted as just coordinator. We expected more than just coordination. So, in that sense, our expectations were belied 2) Mukhthinath visit: - We had a driver and also a guide. Both driver and guide were very polite, decent and humble. No aggressive behavior or attitude. The guide, though a good gentleman, did not have any knowledge about the spiritual significance of Mukhthinath and surrounding shrines. We were told that he could speak English. Yes, he could, but only in extremely limited way. Many time we had to use our broken Hindi. to converse. He took us to all the shrines we wanted to visit in the Mukhthinath complex. Barring the small hiccup, we were very happy with the Driver and the Guide. Peregrine arranged Flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, car with chauffer from Pokhara to Mukthinath. Peregrine also arranged the hotel for stay in Mukhthinath (onward) and in Pokhara (return). Mukhthinath hotel was clean, decent and worth the stay (Lo Mustang). But the hotel in Pokhara was bad in terms of cleanliness, comfort and customer service (Kuti Resorts and SPA). We would not choose this hotel in right sense. It was way below our expectations. The stay details were not communicated to us in advance and hence we could not independently verify in advance. From Pokhara, we chose to drive to Mukhthinath. We were told that road conditions were 70% good and 30% bad. But it was actually the reverse. Major portion of the road was extremely bad, some small pockets were good. Peregrine did not do a proper assessment on this and did not advise accordingly. It was extremely tiresome to travel. We would have preferred the risk of flying from Pokhara to Jomsom, instead of going thru an agonizing travel from Pokhara to Mukhthinath by road. Pradip Karki from Peregrine Trek and Tours was our main liaison during the entire trip. Pradip was very professional, very communicative and always answered all our questions. Since we were travelling from United States, engaging Peregrine was helpful in many ways. If they could pay more attention to the areas we have highlighted, every customer would be 100% satisfied customer Krish Venkataraman CA, USA

We had a great time. Very nice people, well planned and organized. Everything worked well, and when it didn't the travel agency was quick to resolve any problems or find alternative routes. Both the Nepal and Bhutan guides were excellent, very knowledgeable, added a lot to the trip. I highly recommend the itinerary and the travel agency. Mr Pradip at Pellegrine Travel was always available and able and willing to adapt to our circumstances.

We had a great time. Only chance to see Mt. Everest and other giant mountains closer than from 100 miles away. The mountains are majestic. The trip stewards provided useful information. The flight was very smooth. Unfortunately Kathmandu Airport closed for several hours due to fog, and our plane could not land back at origin for several hours. A 1 hour trip turned into a 5 hour trip. No fault of the travel agency or the airline or anyone else, simply bad weather. I would recommend the trip;j.

The organization was excellent, as was the team involved, including drivers and guides. They were even flexible with some extras we requested, so I highly recommend booking them!

My recent Everest Base Camp trek with Peregrine Trek was an experience of a lifetime. From the moment I arrived in Kathmandu Marriott , then to Lukla to the day I returned, We used helicopters to and from Kathmandu to Lukla and further due to more reliability . We stopped at Phakding , monjo , Namche , on our trek and further up at pangboche, Dingboche ( where we had great acclimatization ascent and descent) Our lead guide, Mukhiya, was an invaluable asset throughout the trek. His knowledge of the region, his passion for mountaineering, and his genuine care for our well-being made all the difference. He was assisted by Ashish and Renjit, who provided excellent support and encouragement and specially my assistant guide Dorji, and both porters Gyan and Dilkumar . Yeti Mountain Homes lodges, which offered comfortable and clean accommodations throughout the first three nights of stay in the trek. The highlight was our stay at the Everest View Hotel, the highest hotel in the world. The breathtaking views of Mount Everest from our room as well as terrace were simply unforgettable. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing us to acclimatize gradually to the high altitude. We trekked through diverse landscapes, from lush forests to barren mountain passes, and encountered a variety of wildlife along the way. The daily briefings provided by our guides could have been better and their knowledge of flora , fauna was patchy, and without WiFi we lacked the education I expected from them. The trek to Everest Base Camp is very very challenging, The sense of accomplishment we felt upon reaching the base camp was immense. The stunning views of the surrounding peaks, including Mount Everest itself, as well as Ama Dablam, Pomori ,made the entire journey worthwhile. Mt. Everest Lhotse ,Nuptse Ama Dablam,Kangtega and Thamserku to name few The entire Peregrine Trek team especially the guides and porters went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. They carried our luggage, and assisted us with any special requests we had and I was fortune to hire two porters just for me with extra payment . Their attention to detail and personalized service made was excellent. Our return was a Heli ride with sops at Kala Pathar and Gokyo lake and then Lukla for additional cost . If you are considering an Everest Base Camp trek, I recommend Peregrine Trek with its owner Pradip Karki always available on WhatsApp or mobile . Certain additional hints : Carry disposable urinal packs for gorakshep where rooms lack bathrooms Hot water bags for last 2-3 days Chapsticks Electrolytes tablets Pillow covers Optional sleeping bag for last 2-3 days ,-20’C verified For Indian travelers , take adequate Indian dehydrated ready to eat packs where you just add boiling water Always have fulfilling breakfast in morning Water bottles with long spouts Layered clothes UV protective sunglasses Adequate back up medicines especially loperamide , Stool softeners , Cetrizine , otrivin, Vicks inhalers ( worked like charm ), Vicks cream , NSAIDS, acetaminophen , I used .25-.5 mg alprazolam which generally not recommended but few of us used it to get good nights sleep and didnot see any breathing depression. We didnot use energy bars etc which is highly cited by people , and actually offloaded few of those to lighten our backpack I carried my GoPro and put it on my Sherpa head , and taugh hi how to use it Overall a great fulfilling trip ,

The tour of Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan was fantastic. We got to experience the culture and history of Kathmandu, the natural beauty of Pokhara, and the wildlife of Chitwan. The tour guides were knowledgeable, and the accommodations were great.
